Suitcase going to HaitiMarch and April Mission Teams Gearing Up

It will be a busy month of March for our Haitian brothers and sisters as they host two church mission teams this month. Young Meadows Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Alabama are sending a team on March 9–13 to engage in men's and women's discipleship training on biblical family dynamics, lead a basketball clinic on the new basketball court, and develop peer to peer relationships between the New Joy House students and the youth of Young Meadows.

The second team going to the La Plaine compound is from Grace Church in Rochester, New York, serving March 28–April 4. They will primarily serve in medical ministry and hope to also conduct a remote clinic on the new church property in Jacmel. Please be in prayer for these church teams as they faithfully take up the Great Commission and serve Christ's kingdom through outreach and mercy.

This August edition of the Ref Hope E-Report has only one theme—achieving our long-sought goal of completing the New Joy House orphanage as a wonderful place of rest, refreshment, and family home for our Haitian children. By the grace of God, we are now building the roofs for all five of the orphanage buildings—two dorms each for the boys and the girls and one large common building for the cafeteria and kitchen, large meetings, and chapel services. Just read the newsletter and watch these construction videos by Osseille Joseph and celebrate how far the Lord has brought us!

The Archive

Welcome to the web home of Reformation Hope, Inc. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, created to offer hope and energize lasting transformation for disadvantaged people throughout the world. We do this by sharing the Gospel and making both human and material resources available, fostering reformation through orphan care, education, and small business development.

Our work with people in dire need began through an initial partnership with Pastor Jean Paul, a Haitian-born U.S. citizen. Jean was called by God to return to his native Haiti in order to provide long-term physical and spiritual care, with a particular emphasis on the needs of children and younger adults. We share in Jean Paul's vision for empowering lasting reformation and transformation among the people of Haiti.

We invite you to explore this site and educate yourself about the amazing things the Lord is doing to bring hope and a compelling Gospel-centered vision for kingdom change among desperately suffering peoples, such as those in Haiti. We also hope that you will partner with us in prayer, in time, and in resources, serving together to bring the Good News of Christ and renewed opportunity to those in despair and hopelessness.
