Mission Trip To Haiti Travelogue

Day 7 in Country — Saturday (February 23, 2008): Going Home

There is always a mixture of joy and sadness when a time such as this mission trip is coming to an end. Today we leave early for the airport in order to catch our flight to Miami and then on to Atlanta. We will never be the same after our time in this place. We will never view our Haitian brothers and sisters in the same way. And our grasp of the powerful working of God has been vastly increased. What a mighty God we indeed serve! We are leaving and yet even now I am already eagerly anticipating my return to be with my brother Jean, engaged directly in the work to which we have jointly been called.
