Mission Trip To Haiti TravelogueFebruary 2008By: Rev. Martin Hawley In February 2008, a four man team composed of Alan Lutz, Francis Jean-Baptiste, Crawford Hitt, and I traveled to Haiti. Our purpose was to provide training to indigenous Haitian pastors and to assess the progress of our Haitian orphanage, school, and micro-enterprise program. We also visited local schools and surveyed Haitian construction techniques in anticipation of our own education building project in Haiti. During this wonderful visioning, planning, and training trip, I kept a personal journal, which follows below, for your information and a sense of mission travel in Haiti:
