Shipping Container Going to Haiti Loads May 12th!

Our container for Haiti has been set to be loaded on Friday, May 12th. This shipment is intended to provide support and essential needs resupply for our New Joy House orphanage, the medical clinic, and our church families in Haiti. For those of you sending teams to Haiti this summer, this is an ideal opportunity to have your supplies or tools loaded and shipped to Haiti for use in-country. We are in need of volunteers to help load this container at Hope Presbyterian Church, 4101 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066, on Friday, May 12th. We will have the drop off time soon and will let you know, but typically there is work to do from 9:00 a.m. onwards.

If you would like to donate items for the container, check out the ministry needs list below.

Items of large quantity or large size should not be brought over until May 12th due to storage space. Of course, let your churches and friends know that they can also simply make a small donation to Reformation Hope if they want to help us with the shipping cost of the container, or if they want us to purchase items from the list on their behalf. Reformation Hope and Mission to the World Enter Into Partnership

During our April board meeting, Garry Chambers, Caribbean director for Mission to the World, presented a proposal to create a working partnership between Reformation Hope, Inc. and Mission to the World, the sending agency of the PCA. Our board approved the initial partnering document and both mission organizations signed the understanding at the conclusion of the meeting.

This new partnership will facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience, and when advantageous to both parties, the sharing of people and project resources to accomplish kingdom mission in Haiti. This new arrangement will also establish the framework for working together in developing a new Presbyterian denomination in Haiti with its own presbytery organization. Reformation Hope looks forward to a fruitful partnership for the Gospel in Haiti with Mission to the World.
